Greyson visits Nana and Papaw

Doug and Zona let Greyson come and stay with them for a few days around forth of July.  They like to keep the kids entertained so there were lots of fun activities!

They spent time around the house riding the tractor, lawn mower train, and jeep.  Playing Legos, Marble Works, and feeding the neighbors horses.  They went swimming with Carrie, Corey, Caden, and Callie while Frances watched, and enjoyed Tioga’s Forth of July festivities including riding a stage coach and fireworks.

Day 6

insert Guinness pictures from day 1

What a weekend – Disaster x4 – Parenthood at its best

So maybe disaster is a strong word, but we definitely had four hiccups.  1.  We kicked the weekend off on Friday evening with a drive to a work BBQ Cook-off in West Arlington.  I underestimated traffic to say the least.  While on the highway, Greyson started saying “I have to go Tee Tee real bad!  Right now!  I have to go!  Right now!”  We tried to convince him he could hold it, but were obviously not successful.  He went in his car seat. 2.  After finding a local Target to buy Greyson some new clothes, we hit the road again to the BBQ.  When we arrived I started getting Greyson’s clothes changed and Paul went to get Piper out.  Well – she had an accident also.  Her diaper had leaked all over her pants.  She went to the BBQ (with my clients and co-workers) without any pants on. 3.  On the way to church this morning I shared my granola bar with Greyson.  He took too big a bite and threw up all over hims...
