Circus Circus–Here We Come

Doug and Zona got tickets to the circus at the American Airlines Center.  I took the kids and Carrie and her family went also.  It was a good time by all!  A new experience for us (that was awesome) was to be able to go down into the rings prior to the main show for a pre-show and to meet some of the people in the show.  They had some interactive things for the kids and Greyson even went before the group to juggle handkerchiefs with the clowns.

Day 6

My attempt at portraits

What a weekend – Disaster x4 – Parenthood at its best

So maybe disaster is a strong word, but we definitely had four hiccups.  1.  We kicked the weekend off on Friday evening with a drive to a work BBQ Cook-off in West Arlington.  I underestimated traffic to say the least.  While on the highway, Greyson started saying “I have to go Tee Tee real bad!  Right now!  I have to go!  Right now!”  We tried to convince him he could hold it, but were obviously not successful.  He went in his car seat. 2.  After finding a local Target to buy Greyson some new clothes, we hit the road again to the BBQ.  When we arrived I started getting Greyson’s clothes changed and Paul went to get Piper out.  Well – she had an accident also.  Her diaper had leaked all over her pants.  She went to the BBQ (with my clients and co-workers) without any pants on. 3.  On the way to church this morning I shared my granola bar with Greyson.  He took too big a bite and threw up all over hims...
