New Guinea here we come

Paul gave Greyson a map of the world.  I think Doctors Without Borders sent it to us for free.  Anyway, he loves looking at the map.  He can show us where we live and then he likes to talk about the places he wants to go and how we will travel to get there.  We talk about travel time in terms of how many movies he can watch on the trip.

The place he is most interested in going is New Guinea.  For those of us who are geographically challenged, that is just above Australia.  When he says he wants to go to New Guinea it sounds like he say McKinney.  Very cute.  He asked Paul if we can go to New Guinea and Paul said we can someday if he is a really good boy.  So who knows – maybe our next vacation will be New Guinea!

Day 6

insert Guinness pictures from day 1

My attempt at portraits

So I needed a recent picture of Piper to include in her birthday invitation so I thought I would try to take them on my own.  Of course Greyson did not want to be left out.   When Greyson was little I thought I could take some decent pictures, but I have not had much luck with Piper.  Here is the final birthday invitation.  You can tell the two on the left were taken by a professional :)
