Easter Blessings

We are so incredibly blessed to have a God that loves us enough to give his son for us.  Easter is a great day to reflect on that and recognize the countless blessing in our lives.  This was the first year that we struggled with explaining the difference between the fun/imaginary parts of Easter and the real purpose for Easter.  Greyson said, "The Easter Bunny really is alive because he brought me stuff." Paul went on to tell him "Jesus is alive!" Easter Bunny is fun, but it complicates the meaning of Easter.

4th Birthday Party

Greyson’s 4th birthday was an action packed day!  It just happened to fall on the same day as his first soccer game so after the game, we had a party at our home.  The main attraction was a blow up water slide.  After the game – water definitely needed to be part of the attraction.  It was so incredibly hot that day.  The kids had a ball. Warning – this is picture overload.  I have drastically reduced from the 150 shots Paul’s dad took, but there are still quite a few.   Greyson following Ryder up Taverly Carson Chacon boys Greyson & Carson After all the kids left, Paul and I went for a slide.  Great times.   Piper actually slept through the party.  She came home and took a nap after the soccer game.  She woke up about the time everyone left so we were going to let her splash around a little, but she was not too interested. M&M’s Medal

Music and Missions at church ended the school year with a performance and participation awards.  The children got to sing on the stage in big church and received medals for participating.  Greyson talked about how he got to sing in big church for weeks.  In the top picture notice him looking to make sure I was watching him – too cute.
